**Aldis is a great place to shop for mostly produce & dried goods...if you do not have coupons --go to Aldis before Walmart if possible (Aldis prices are usually better & they sell some name brand & their brand) If you don't like a product -their brand , take it back & get a full refund and a new product. --You need to take your own bags -recyclable, plastic, etc.. and a .25 for your cart (which you get back at the end of your trip.) Aldis doesn't bag groceries, and they keep carts up front... keeps prices lower!!

Food Lion:
Chicken Leg Quarters .47 cents a pound (sold in ten pound bag : $4.70 for 10 pounds!)
White House Apple Juice BOGO = $1.24 each
**I didn't do all of Food Lion's ad --these are the 2 best deals I saw! Since Food Lion doesn't double coupons (under .99 cents) I do not shop their often..only when their are good deals.

Harris Teeter Triple Coupons & More!!! :)

So excited everyone! Harris Teeter has triple coupons today-next tuesday! This means any coupon (under .99cents is 3x) This is one of the best times to buy things like: Deodorant, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Soap, Bandaids, cleaning supplies, paper products, and even canned goods & bottled items (example: mustard, ketchup, barbecue sauce.) Baby products (like wipes, and creams) can be good deals during triple coupons also.

Some of the best coupons to use are the .75 cent, .65 cent, .55 cent, and .50 cent coupons. These all triple & give you the best deals.

Don't look just at the items on sale during 3x coupons. Spend a couple hours go to Harris Teeter, and go down each aisle with your coupons. Look for what the price will be after the triple coupon is taken off. For instance sometimes toothpaste can be as cheap as .50cents a tube, and I have gotten shaving gel for under .50 cents also. Sometimes deodorant and other products will be lower than .50 cents or almost free.

Here is an example: If canned fruit is on sale for $1 each, and you have a .55 cent coupon off two cans -you get $1.65 off two -which means you get two cans for .35 cents out of pocket!

Also, if anyone has any questions feel free to ask, and maybe we can even arrange a shopping trip to Harris Teeter for those who know me, and live close by! I would be willing to help you learn how to do the coupons -visually is sometimes easier for others.

Coupon Terms & JcPenny Deal!

Day 1

To start off... My name is Hannah, and I love coupons & sales. The ideas of saving have been engraved into me since I was young (thank you mom!) I've been married 6 months now, and it is just me and my husband. My work, and school keep me busy, but other than that spending time with my husband, shopping & saving are my favorite things. Also, the fact that I can combine all of my shopping & saving together...make it even more fun. To those who are reading this -it is my first attempt at a regular blog (especially a money saving one.)
I hope to give you some insight into how coupons work, what all those crazy coupon terms mean, and how to get the most for your money. I hope to include some of my best weekly deals (whether it is coupons, sales, or clearance.) I plan to post grocery store deals, and the coupons to use with them every Tuesday (the day before the sale starts.) As far as other stores I will post the best deals on Sunday..when I get the paper. Also on Sunday I will post the best coupons I found in the paper for that day!

Other than all the things mentioned who knows what else will be in my blog. I love to do product reviews, and get excited easily about saving money. I look forward to this blog, and the good times it may hold!
