Coupon Terms & JcPenny Deal!

Hi Everybody! As promised here are the most used coupon terms for those who are new to using coupons! Below the coupon terms is a JcPenny Deal, and a coupon preview for this week. Next blog: Best way to store/organize coupons & a list of my favorite sites with the best deals!

ECBs- Extra Care Bucks - $ off coupons you earn, for buying items on sale in weekly ad-- print at end of purchase to use on a future purchase (free cash coupons!!!)

RRs- Register Rewards: Same as Extra Bucks-gives you cash back on sale items in ad!

SS- Smartsource (newspaper insert)

RP- Redplum (newspaper insert)

P&G- Proctor & Gamble (newspaper insert, usually once a month)

Stacking- when you combine a store coupon with a manufacturers coupon or sale for the most savings

BOGO or B1G1- Buy One Get One Free

FAR- Free After Rebate

Catalina- a coupon that prints with your receipt at the store (examples: target, Harris teeter, Lowes, and food lion.)

Filler- a cheap item you buy to maximize savings at a store

WYB- when you buy

MIR- mail in rebate

JcPenny's is mailing out a coupon it looks like this: If you receive one in the mail-then use it! It is good for $10 off a $10 purchase = free stuff!! :) JcPenny has limitations on their coupons, so read the restrictions carefully--it is good on clothes though, should be good on clearance & regular.
